That they would so stovepipe their account access in such a fashion. I find it so irritating that they would treat a customer like this. Pretty frustrating to have to be stonewalled out of access after so many years. So Evernote told me that I would not be able to access my account due to this, their security measures would not allow them to let me change my account information as a result. I do not remember this it was so long ago that I do not have the emails anymore - nor do I remember receiving codes in the first place). But no - without access to that phone number, and without having the setup codes (They told me that they sent me setup codes when I first enrolled. I even sent them a scan of my driver's license, in the hopes that they would accept that as proof of identity. Attractive features like PIN lock mode and offline support are only available with a 3-per-month subscription. The problem is, I no longer have access to that old phone number, and Evernote won't allow me to change it to my new one. I need to verify my Evernote account as they ask me to enter a code being sent via text message to my old phone number.
